Tugboat Fenders

Tug vessels use marine fender systems as bumpers to move larger vessels, and are constantly being pushed against steel surfaces, putting the fender in line of constant wear and tear quickly. As Tug fenders can be in use for longer and under more extreme conditions than any other fender type, a tough fender is required which is resistant to frequent impacts.

To meet this challenge, GLEN’s low density tug fenders offer high abrasion resistance while remaining both cost effective and long-lasting.

Tugs can be fitted with up to four types of fenders – each type serving a particular application.
